How to connect Tiendanube with Odoo

Connect Tiendanube with one click and Odoo with an API key. Odoo sends stock from the locations you choose and prices from your pricelists to Tiendanube; each Tiendanube order is created as an Odoo sales order and each customer as a contact, with the tax ID taken from the store field you choose.

What you need.

  • A Tiendanube (Nuvemshop) store.
  • Your Odoo URL, database, a user and an API key for that user.
  • The same SKU in Tiendanube and as the internal reference in Odoo.
Step by step

The setup.

  1. Connect Tiendanube

    One click: you authorize the NexxoSync app in your Tiendanube store. No tokens to generate.

    1. In NexxoSync, go to Connections and choose Tiendanube.
    2. Click “Connect with Tiendanube” and sign in to your store.
    3. Accept the permissions. Real-time notifications are registered automatically.

  2. Connect Odoo

    Odoo has no central app store login: you connect with your Odoo URL, database, user and API key. An optional module adds real-time notifications.

    1. In Odoo, create an API key for the user NexxoSync will act as.
    2. In NexxoSync, go to Connections, choose Odoo and enter the URL, database, user and API key.
    3. Optional: download the NexxoSync Connector module, install it in Odoo and paste the token NexxoSync shows you.

  3. Create the integration

    Create an integration between Tiendanube and Odoo. The wizard asks where your catalog lives and where sales are recorded, and proposes a table of flows: one row per kind of data, each with its own direction.

  4. Set the flows

    Turn on these rows. The others can stay off, or be set to your case: directions a platform's API doesn't allow are disabled, with the reason.

    • Stock: Odoo → Tiendanube. From the Odoo locations you include.
    • Prices: Odoo → Tiendanube. From Odoo pricelists.
    • Orders: Tiendanube → Odoo. Each Tiendanube order becomes a sales order.
    • Customers: Tiendanube → Odoo. Tiendanube customers are created or updated as contacts.

  5. Link your products

    NexxoSync proposes links between both catalogs by SKU: confirm them. Products without a SKU can be linked by hand. Only linked products are synced.

  6. Simulate and turn it on

    Simulate the stock, price and customer flows to see every change they would make, without writing anything. Then turn the integration on: flows run on every change where the platform sends notifications, with a scheduled run as a safety net, and every run is recorded in the history.

Tips from real setups.

  • Tiendanube receives one stock figure per variant: the Odoo locations you include are added up.
  • Choose which store field holds the buyer's tax ID, so invoices in Odoo have it.
  • Tiendanube's notifications are registered automatically; for real time from Odoo, install the optional NexxoSync Connector module.

Is the Odoo module required?

No. It adds real-time notifications from Odoo and full pricelist rules. Without it, Odoo changes are picked up on a schedule.

Can Tiendanube lead the catalog?

Yes. Both platforms support every flow, so each direction can be chosen freely.

Does it work with Nuvemshop?

Yes. Nuvemshop is the same platform as Tiendanube and connects the same way.
