How you connect it

Credentials / API key

Odoo has no central app store login: you connect with your Odoo URL, database, user and API key. An optional module adds real-time notifications.

Connect
  1. In Odoo, create an API key for the user NexxoSync will act as.
  2. In NexxoSync, go to Connections, choose Odoo and enter the URL, database, user and API key.
  3. Optional: download the NexxoSync Connector module, install it in Odoo and paste the token NexxoSync shows you.

Orders the way your accounting wants them

Choose what happens to each sales order, and map payment methods, shipping methods, taxes, warehouse and pricelist.

Stock by location

Only the locations you map are read. Several locations can add up into one channel, with safety stock held back.

Pricelist prices

Take regular and offer prices from your Odoo pricelists. With the NexxoSync Connector module, every rule applies: percentages, formulas and base lists.

Real time with the module

The optional module notifies product, stock, price and order changes. Notices are queued inside Odoo and retried if NexxoSync does not answer.

Good to know

Honest limits of the platform's API.

  • Without the NexxoSync Connector module there are no real-time notifications: changes are picked up on a schedule.
  • Without the module, only fixed prices are read from pricelists; percentage and formula rules need the module.
  • Installing the module requires being able to add custom modules to your Odoo (developer mode, Odoo.sh or server access).
  • NexxoSync does not archive Odoo products when a channel pauses a listing: product status stays under the ERP's control.

Odoo

Is the Odoo module required?

No. NexxoSync works with Odoo's API alone, on a schedule. The module adds real-time notifications and full pricelist rules.

Which Odoo versions does the module support?

The module is downloaded for your series: 17, 18, 19 or 20.

Can orders be invoiced automatically?

Yes. Each order can be created as a draft, confirmed, confirmed and invoiced, or confirmed, delivered and invoiced.

Does it handle product variants?

Yes. Odoo variants are linked one by one, whatever the attribute, so stock and prices move per variant.
