How to import Producteca orders into Odoo

Paste your Producteca API key and token in NexxoSync, connect Odoo with an API key, and turn on Orders from Producteca to Odoo: each order becomes an Odoo sales order, with the buyer created as a contact. Then send stock from Odoo locations to Producteca warehouses and prices to a Producteca price list, so Producteca keeps every channel updated.

Before you start

What you need.

  • Your Producteca API key and token.
  • Your Odoo URL, database, a user and an API key for that user.
  • The same SKU in Producteca and as the internal reference in Odoo.
Step by step

The setup.

  1. Connect Odoo

Odoo has no central app store login: you connect with your Odoo URL, database, user and API key. An optional module adds real-time notifications.

    1. In Odoo, create an API key for the user NexxoSync will act as.
    2. In NexxoSync, go to Connections, choose Odoo and enter the URL, database, user and API key.
    3. Optional: download the NexxoSync Connector module, install it in Odoo and paste the token NexxoSync shows you.
  2. Connect Producteca

Producteca gives each account an API key and a token. You paste them in NexxoSync.

    1. Get your API key and token from Producteca.
    2. In NexxoSync, go to Connections, choose Producteca and paste them.
    3. Optional: set up Producteca's notifications to NexxoSync for faster updates.
  3. Create the integration

Create an integration between Odoo and Producteca. The wizard asks where your catalog lives and where sales are recorded, and proposes a table of flows: one row per kind of data, each with its own direction.

  4. Set the flows

Turn on these rows. The others can stay off, or be set to your case: directions a platform's API doesn't allow are disabled, with the reason.

    • Orders: Producteca → Odoo. Each order becomes an Odoo sales order.
    • Stock: Odoo → Producteca. From Odoo locations to Producteca warehouses.
    • Prices: Odoo → Producteca. From an Odoo pricelist to a Producteca price list.
  5. Link your products

NexxoSync proposes links between both catalogs by SKU: confirm them. Products without a SKU can be linked by hand. Only linked products are synced.

  6. Simulate and turn it on

Simulate the stock, price and customer flows to see every change they would make, without writing anything. Then turn the integration on: flows run on every change where the platform sends notifications, with a scheduled run as a safety net, and every run is recorded in the history.

Good to know

Tips from real setups.

  • If you also connect one of Producteca's stores directly, filter Producteca's orders by sales channel so the same sale isn't imported twice.
  • Set up Producteca's notifications to NexxoSync for faster updates; without them, changes are picked up on a schedule.
  • A fulfillment task can create the shipment of each order ready to dispatch in Producteca, with carrier and tracking.
Frequently asked questions

How to import Producteca orders into Odoo

Can I publish Odoo products to Producteca?

No. Producteca does not create products by API. Publish from the channel, then link by SKU.

Are customers created in Odoo?

Yes, as part of each order: the order flow can create the contact if it does not exist. A separate Customers flow is not available because Producteca does not share customer records.

Can orders be sent from Odoo to Producteca?

No. Orders cannot be created in Producteca, so they only go from Producteca to Odoo.
