How to set different prices per sales channel

Keep one price list in your main system and give each channel its own Prices flow that transforms it: a percentage markup to cover marketplace fees, currency conversion, tax and rounding to endings like .99. Sale prices travel too, so a promotion at the origin shows up on every channel and ends when it ends.

Before you start

What you need.

  • Accounts on the channels you sell on.
  • Products linked by SKU between your main system and each channel.
Step by step

The setup.

  1. Pick where prices are maintained

Usually your ERP or main store. With Odoo, the regular price and the offer come from the pricelists you choose.

  2. Connect each channel

Connect your main system and every store or marketplace to NexxoSync, and create one integration per channel.

  3. Set each channel's rule

In each integration, set the Prices flow from your main system to the channel and choose the rule: copy as is, add a markup or apply a discount; convert with a fixed rate (or Odoo's daily rate); add a tax percentage; round to an ending like .99 or to multiples.

  4. Simulate

The simulation lists the old and new price of every product before anything is written.

  5. Turn it on

Prices update on every change where the origin sends notifications, or on a schedule. Variations with their own price are synced one by one.

Good to know

Tips from real setups.

  • Each integration has its own Prices flow, so Mercado Libre and eBay can carry different markups for their different fees.
  • Sale prices are written as each platform shows them: compare-at price on Shopify, sale price on WooCommerce, promotional price on Tiendanube, the regular price crossed out on eBay.
  • Following competitors' prices is a separate thing: on Mercado Libre, the price assistant watches them and suggests changes within a floor you set.
Frequently asked questions

How to set different prices per sales channel

Can I charge more on Mercado Libre than in my store?

Yes. Set a markup on the Prices flow from your store to Mercado Libre, and round the result if you like.

Are sale prices synced?

Yes. When the origin has a sale price lower than the regular one, it is written at the destination; when it ends, the sale is removed.

Can prices be converted to another currency?

Yes, with a fixed exchange rate, or with Odoo's daily rate when Odoo is the origin.
