How to publish Mercado Libre products on eBay automatically

Connect your Mercado Libre account and your eBay seller account, choosing the eBay site you sell on, and create one integration with Mercado Libre as the home of the catalog. Turn on Publish, Stock and Prices from Mercado Libre to eBay, with the exchange rate set in Prices, and Deduct sales from eBay to Mercado Libre, so each eBay sale lowers the Mercado Libre stock.

What you need.

  • A Mercado Libre seller account.
  • An eBay seller account with business policies (shipping, payment, returns) and an inventory location.
  • The exchange rate between your Mercado Libre currency and the eBay site's, if they differ.
Step by step

The setup.

  1. Connect Mercado Libre

    One click: you sign in to Mercado Libre and authorize NexxoSync. Tokens are obtained and renewed automatically.

    1. In NexxoSync, go to Connections and choose Mercado Libre.
    2. Click “Connect with Mercado Libre” and sign in with your seller account.
    3. Approve access. You return to NexxoSync with the account connected.

  2. Connect eBay

    One click: you choose the eBay site, sign in to eBay and authorize NexxoSync. Tokens are renewed automatically.

    1. In NexxoSync, go to Connections, choose eBay and the site you sell on (eBay.com, eBay.co.uk, eBay.es, eBay.de…).
    2. Click “Connect with eBay” and sign in with your seller account.
    3. Approve access. To publish, your account needs business policies (shipping, payment, returns) and an inventory location.

  3. Create the integration

    Create an integration between Mercado Libre and eBay. The wizard asks where your catalog lives and where sales are recorded, and proposes a table of flows: one row per kind of data, each with its own direction.

  4. Set the flows

    Turn on these rows. The others can stay off, or be set to your case: directions a platform's API doesn't allow are disabled, with the reason.

    • Publish new products: Mercado Libre → eBay. Off by default. Turn it on to create eBay listings for new Mercado Libre listings.
    • Stock: Mercado Libre → eBay. Per variation, in batches.
    • Prices: Mercado Libre → eBay. With the exchange rate to the eBay site's currency, plus an optional markup and rounding.
    • Deduct sales: eBay → Mercado Libre. Each eBay sale takes its units off Mercado Libre's stock, without creating an order.

  5. Link your products

    NexxoSync proposes links between both catalogs by SKU: confirm them. Products without a SKU can be linked by hand. Only linked products are synced. Products that only exist in Mercado Libre are created in eBay by the Publish flow, which is off by default.

  6. Simulate and turn it on

    Simulate the stock, price and customer flows to see every change they would make, without writing anything. Then turn the integration on: flows run on every change where the platform sends notifications, with a scheduled run as a safety net, and every run is recorded in the history.

Good to know

Tips from real setups.

  • Set up the Prices flow before publishing: new listings start at its price. With different currencies and no exchange rate, nothing is published.
  • Publish a few products by hand first (Catalog › Publish to…): each run warns about the item specifics eBay's category asks for that are missing.
  • To manage the catalog on eBay instead, answer that the catalog lives on eBay: every flow turns around, and Mercado Libre's sales lower eBay's stock.

Why not send eBay sales to Mercado Libre as orders?

Mercado Libre, like eBay, only lets buyers create orders. NexxoSync takes the units of each eBay sale off the Mercado Libre stock instead, once per sale, and gives them back if the sale is cancelled.

Do sales made before I connect get deducted?

No. Only sales made after the Deduct sales flow is created count: older ones are already in the stock it found.

Are all the pictures published?

Yes, every picture of the listing at full size, as long as it is served over https, which Mercado Libre's are.
