How to sync Shopify and Tiendanube
Choose which store leads the catalog, usually Shopify, and connect both with one click. NexxoSync creates the products missing in Tiendanube, keeps stock per variant and prices in step, converting the currency if the stores sell in different ones, and creates each Tiendanube order in Shopify, so stock is discounted in one place.
What you need.
- A Shopify store where you can approve apps.
- A Tiendanube (Nuvemshop) store.
- A SKU on each product and variant.
The setup.
Connect Shopify
One click: you approve the NexxoSync app in your Shopify admin. No custom apps and no tokens to copy.
- In NexxoSync, go to Connections and choose Shopify.
- Enter your store's myshopify.com address and click “Connect with Shopify”.
- Approve the permissions in Shopify. Real-time notifications are registered automatically.
Connect Tiendanube
One click: you authorize the NexxoSync app in your Tiendanube store. No tokens to generate.
- In NexxoSync, go to Connections and choose Tiendanube.
- Click “Connect with Tiendanube” and sign in to your store.
- Accept the permissions. Real-time notifications are registered automatically.
Create the integration
Create an integration between Shopify and Tiendanube. The wizard asks where your catalog lives and where sales are recorded, and proposes a table of flows: one row per kind of data, each with its own direction.
Set the flows
Turn on these rows. The others can stay off, or be set to your case: directions a platform's API doesn't allow are disabled, with the reason.
- Publish new products: Shopify → Tiendanube. Creates Tiendanube products for Shopify products not yet there.
- Stock: Shopify → Tiendanube. Per variant, only where it changed.
- Prices: Shopify → Tiendanube. With currency conversion and rounding if needed.
- Orders: Tiendanube → Shopify. Tiendanube orders are created in Shopify.
Link your products
NexxoSync proposes links between both catalogs by SKU: confirm them. Products without a SKU can be linked by hand. Only linked products are synced. Products that only exist in Shopify are created in Tiendanube by the Publish flow, which is off by default.
Simulate and turn it on
Simulate the stock, price and customer flows to see every change they would make, without writing anything. Then turn the integration on: flows run on every change where the platform sends notifications, with a scheduled run as a safety net, and every run is recorded in the history.
Tips from real setups.
- Selling internationally on Shopify and in Latin America on Tiendanube? The Prices flow converts with a fixed exchange rate and rounds the result.
- Both stores register their notifications when you connect them, so stock moves on every change.
- Tiendanube's API has rate limits: large catalogs are processed in batches and paced, not all at once.
How to sync Shopify and Tiendanube
Can prices be in different currencies?
Yes. The Prices flow can convert with a fixed exchange rate and round the result.
Can Tiendanube lead the catalog instead?
Yes. Every flow can run in either direction between these two platforms.
Are customers synced too?
They can be: the Customers flow creates new Tiendanube customers in Shopify, matched by email, tax ID or phone.
